Overturned semi causing delays on I-15 in Salt Lake City

An overturned semi-truck is causing delays this afternoon on northbound Interstate 15 at the 2300 North exit in Salt Lake City. Utah Highway Patrol tells 2News that the semi was headed north and took the exit to Highway 89, when for unknown reasons it veered to the right and rolled off the road. The truck is refrigerated and may be carrying some type of food material, but there’s no hazmat problem, according to UHP.The driver was not injured and was the only person involved.The ramp will be closed until roughly 3:45 p.m. so crews can get the truck upright and towed. The crash is under investigation.
