All lanes open after ethanol tanker crash near Annawan-UPDATED

ANNAWAN, Ill. (KWQC) – UPDATE 2:45 p.m.: The Illinois State Police reports that all lanes on I-80 at the site of the semi tanker crash are open.
UPDATE: 1:40 p.m.: The Illinois State Police say there is no estimated time for reopening the east bound lanes at the time of this report. The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency, Illinois Emergency Management Agency and Illinois Department of Transportation are on scene to supervise the cleanup efforts and determine when the area will be safe to reopen for regular traffic. UPDATE 10:30 a.m.: The Illinois Department of Transportation says an emergency road closure was installed on I-80 due to an accident. One lane is open on I-80 westbound and eastbound lanes are completely closed with detour in place. The detour is US 6 at exits 27 and 33. One eastbound lane is anticipated to be open by dusk. UPDATE: Westbound I-80 is reopened after a semi truck hauling ethanol crashed just before 3 a.m. on Wednesday, November 22. Both directions of I-80 were closed for hours. Crews opened westbound traffic around 7 a.m.
