A motorist in California captured a dramatic dash cam clip showing a semi truck losing control on a California freeway on Wednesday. The incident occurred just after 10:30 a.m on Wednesday, January 17, in Anaheim, California, according to a report from the Press-Enterprise. Police say that the semi truck was eastbound on the 91 Freeway near the Lakeview Avenue exit when it crossed two lanes of traffic and veered into a 2005 Ford.[indeed-social-locker sm_list=’fb,tw,li,pt’ sm_template=’ism_template_2′ sm_list_align=’horizontal’ sm_display_counts=’false’ sm_display_full_name=’true’ unlock_type=1 locker_template=2 sm_d_text='<h2>This Video is locked</h2><p>Share This Page To Unlock The Video!</p>’ ism_overlock=’default’ ]
This accident sent both the Ford and the semi truck into the center concrete divider. The truck plowed through the divider and came to a stop in the westbound lanes of the 91 Freeway. The Ford remained in the eastbound lanes. Two other vehicles were struck by debris from the crash. Remarkably, the only person who was hurt was the Ford driver, who was treated for minor injuries at the scene. The cause of the accident remains under investigation, but the California Highway Patrol says that there were wet and windy weather conditions at the time. The dash cam footage of the incident was shared by a motorist, who captured the scene from the westbound lanes, and can be seen below.
