Nearly 39 vehicles collided on Highway 400 during winter storm
Police say that at least 39 vehicles collided in the southbound lanes of Highway 400 near Barrie, Ontario, yesterday afternoon. The chain reaction crash happened in the southbound lanes of Highway 400, according to CBC. Police believe that snow, ice, and near white-out conditions were a major factor in causing the pileup crash.
Though the crash involved dozens of vehicles, only four people were injured. Their injuries were considered to be minor. No charges have been filed at this time, but police are still investigating the crash.
