Tractor-trailer burst into flames near downtown Orlando Saturday.

The fire near West Anderson Street and West Interstate 4 was reported to the Orlando Fire Department just after 2:30 p.m., according to online dispatch logs.

Thick, black plumes of smoke billowed from the truck, which was engulfed by bright orange flames.

The tractor-trailor appeared to be stopped near a construction site near the Amway Center.

Firefighters remained on scene more than an hour later.

Traffic was slowed in the area.

Information about what caused the fire or if anyone was injured was not immediately available.
