A semi truck crashed and caught fire Tuesday night while driving through the snow on northbound Interstate 5 near the SR-505 interchange. The fire is impacting both directions of I-5 near milepost 63, which is near the town of Winlock, Washington State Dept. of Transportation said. Washington State Patrol says the semi-truck was the only vehicle involved in the crash. The driver lost control in the snow and struck the median jersey barrier. The semi-truck came to rest in the median and caught fire, Washington State Patrol said. Investigators say he was driving too fast for the conditions. The driver was injured. A viewer video shows the semi truck over the center barrier, engulfed in flames.
